Jaundice Causes and Symptoms
Jaundice or Iceterus is the most common type of liver disorder and is categorized by the yellow color of skin and sclera of eyes. When the red blood cells are broken down, Bilirubin, a yellow color waste product is produced which is filtered by the livers. When the liver is unhealthy, it becomes less effective to eliminate the bilirubin from the bloodstream and hence it circulates in the whole body causing the skin to become yellowish. Infants have more red blood cells plus their liver is not fully developed, thus jaundice is very common in infants. Jaundice is not a disease but an underlying disease which is a symptom of other diseases like hepatitis, liver failure etc. Jaundice Causes as per Ayurveda In ayurveda, jaundice is known by the name “Kamala.” According to ayurvedic scriptures, jaundice is caused due to the pitta aggravation. Increased intake of spicy, fatty, salty food and alcohol increases pitta dosha and aggravated pitta affects the liver muscles and blocks the channels of the liver, thus making liver less efficient which ultimately results in a liver disorder. Jaundice Symptoms Other than discoloration of skin and whites of eyes, symptoms of jaundice include fever, weakness, fatigue, lack of appetite, drowsiness, nausea, light colored stools, constipation, headache, burning sensation in the body and also itching in some cases. Keep your liver healthy by saying a no to alcohol, follow simple diet and lifestyle changes for jaundice and resort to ayurvedic treatment to get rid of jaundice and other liver disorders. Wish you a happy and healthy life! Note: If you have any past history of jaundice, do not donate your blood before proper tests. The ama circulates in the whole body and accumulates at weaker joints and vata starts aggravating. This initiates swelling and ultimately results in arthritis or amavata. Sandhi Gata vata: Sandhi gata vata resembles osteoarthritis and is caused when vitiated vata makes joints its home. It is more common in women as a menopausal effect and generally affects the joints of knees, ankles, spines and hips. It happens usually when the body has low calcium intake or is degenerating as a part of ageing. Thewa Jewellery Polki Jewellery Kundan Jewellery Meenakari Jewellery Lac Jewellery Tribal Jewellery Thewa Jewellery This is an art of jewellery making that is very popular in Rajasthan. The origin of this jewellery making dates back to the Mughal period. This is a traditional art of fusing 23 carat gold with multicolored glass. Here intricate works are done on a sheet of gold and this is embossed on molten glass. The motifs used on it reflect the culture of Rajasthan. Thewa jewellery is ornamental and traditional, making you look regal and sophisticated. Polki Jewellery Polki is diamond that is not cut or polished. It is in its raw form. Diet & Lifestyle Recommendations to Prevent Acne and Pimples
Acne affects the best of us. Trust me when I say this, acne is one of the most popular skin disorder people face. It is formed due to clogged follicle which is filled with dead skin cells, sebum (secretion from oil gland) and sometimes hair. Many factors result in acne. Acne can occur anywhere but is mostly commonly seen on face and neck. Primarily, you should keep your skin clean from the dirt and impurities. It is not only the external factors that cause acne, sometimes internal factors play a great role (Also Read: Acne Causes and Effects). Ayurveda, which is the oldest healthcare system in India, gives some insight on the ways one can develop pimples. Youvana Pidaka is the name given to acne in Ayurveda. Ayurveda as a health care system basically concentrates on three biological energies or doshas which rule a person’s mental and physical health. These are Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Acne results from imbalance in all these three doshas. So, in order to prevent acne, you should undergo some basic diet and lifestyle changes. Take a look - Diet to prevent acne and pimples Eating unhealthy food can cause an imbalance in your dosha. You should make it a point to eat healthy, warm and cooked food which is not dry. Try to avoid hot and spicy food. These can cause inflammation in the skin by increasing the Pitta dosha. Lessen the intake of alcohol, cheese and coffee. Drink normal temperature water and not cold water. Intake of ice cream and cold drinks should be decreased. Raw food should be avoided. Skincare for acne Take good care of your skin. Wash your face with a herbal handmade soap which is not harsh on your skin. Avoid using cosmetics of different kinds which can damage your face in the long run ... https://www.shimply.com/articles/diet-lifestyle-recommendations-to-prevent-acne-and-pimples/

Ayurvedic Herbs To Get Rid Of Acne
Ayurveda acknowledges acne as the disorder relating to rakht (blood) which makes up one of the seven tissues or dhatus. Acne occurs when there is an imbalance in all three biological energies. These energies or doshas administer the functioning of our body and mind and are vata, pitta and kapha. There may be certain reasons for the imbalance like consuming excess hot, spicy and dry food. These factors cause inflammation in the skin and lead to acne (Also Read: Acne Causes and Effects). There are various Ayurvedic herbs which can be used for treating acne and pimples. Some of the common herbs are listed below - Red Sandalwood Powder for Acne Neem for Acne Sariva Herb for Pimples Turmeric for Pimples Nutmeg for Acne Manjistha for Acne Chirata for Acne Shatavari for Acne Aloe vera for Acne Red Sandalwood Powder for Acne Red sandalwood (Laal Chandan) is effective in treating acne as it performs the job of purification of blood which helps to flush out the toxins from the blood. You can apply equal parts of red sandalwood powder and honey on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash off. You can also mix turmeric powder in the mixture. This can be done for a week to get rid of acne. You can continue the use if you still face problems. Neem for Acne Neem paste when applied on acne makes for a great remedy as it is antiseptic and antimicrobial. It kills the bacteria which might be causing the pimples. Apply neem paste on your acne and keep for 15 minutes before washing off. Using this regularly will get rid of acne and pimples. Sariva Herb for Pimples Sariva (Anantamool) is yet another herb, the roots of which can be utilized for the treatment of acne. Apply the paste obtained from grinding the root on the affected area. Acne Causes and Effects
Acne or pimples is not something new. Almost all people are familiar with the annoying zits that occur anytime, anywhere. Though people with oily skin are more prone to acne, it can occur to anyone. Acne is basically a disorder related to oil glands which are present beneath the skin. The activity of the oil glands increases in the teenage years of a person’s life because of the hormonal changes that take place (eg. menstrual cycles in case of girls and puberty in case of boys). Skin pores are linked to oil glands by means of follicles. When these follicles or channels get blocked or clogged by sebum (secretion of oil gland), a pimple is formed. Bacterial growth is also a major factor which supports the growth of a pimple. These are the signs of the problem but not the actual reason behind it. Acne can be explained by Ayurvedic approach. Ayurveda is the holistic medical healthcare system that originated in India many many years ago. It was practiced by learned saints who used natural and organic treatments for a disorder or disease. Acne is called Yuvana Pidika in Ayurveda, Yuvana meaning youth and Pidika implying eruption of skin. What Causes Acne as per Ayurveda Ayurveda is based upon three biological energies that together govern the body and mind of a person. These energies are - Vata (derived from space and air), Pitta (derived from fire and water) and Kapha (derived from Earth and water). If there is an imbalance in these energies or doshas, a disorder occurs. In acne, there is generally an imbalance in all the three doshas. There are many ways in which these doshas can be imbalanced and may result in acne. Let us take a look at some of these - Digestive disorders cause acne Lack of sleep and stress causes ... https://www.shimply.com/articles/acne-causes-and-effects/

Postnatal Care According To Ayurveda
The happiness you feel when you hold your newly born baby in your arms is indescribable. The act of giving birth is such a blessing. You took every little precaution while your precious was inside your body. Now that you have given birth, your body has changed. You have put on weight and have been through a lot during your pregnancy. You have started lactating for nourishing your baby. This postnatal period is called Sutika kala in ayurveda and post natal care is described as Sutika Paricharya. It is the time when the mother needs to restore her health and gain back her strength. As per ayurveda, the condition of the mother after pregnancy can be compared with a pot filled with oil upto brim. Just like the oil can spill in case the pot is not stable, the mother can also see a deterioration in her health if proper care is not taken. So it's extremely important for her to take care of her diet, lifestyle and daily routine to come back to her normal self again. Here are a few measures suggested by ayurveda to ensure you maintain a healthy postnatal life and restore your health - Bring Vata Dosha in Control after delivery Post pregnancy diet Rest after delivery Postnatal massage Ayurvedic medicines after delivery Ayurvedic herbs for post pregnancy care Losing weight after pregnancy Bring Vata Dosha in Control after delivery Ayurveda suggests that the activity of the Vata dosha is what causes the delivery of the infant (Also Read: The 3 Doshas in Ayurveda – Vatta, Pitta, Kapha). Naturally, this would mean that Vata dosha shoots up after the process. Balancing the vata dosha thus becomes a prime concern after the birth of the baby. Ghee intake is highly encouraged in this case. A teaspoon of ghee mixed with herbs like ginger, pepper, chitraka and chavya is given to ... https://www.shimply.com/articles/postnatal-care-according-to-ayurveda/

Prenatal Care According To Ayurveda
Pregnancy is such a magical time in a woman’s life. The unmatched feeling of giving birth to a life is absolutely euphoric. A mother wants to protect her little one from every possible danger. How about you start right from the time when your baby is inside you, probably the safest place he will ever be? Yes, right after the good news is out, everyone in your family including you starts to freak out about do's and don'ts for a healthy pregnancy. Take a breath and stop worrying! Let us help you follow the ayurvedic way of prenatal care which will allow you to get rid of your worries completely. Just like a seedling grows from a seed with proper care and turns into a sapling, that is how ayurveda views human conception. An embryo or garbha is formed with the union of man and woman. For its proper nourishment and growth, ayurveda also puts a lot of emphasis on the quality of seed and the ideal terrain (uterus) where the seed is planted. Once that's done, ayurveda emphasizes on Aahar (food), Vihaar (lifestyle) and Vichaar (thoughts) of the mom-to-be for effective pregnancy care by giving advise on the following - What to eat during pregnancy Morning sickness remedies Pregnancy workouts Rest during pregnancy Ditch bad habits during pregnancy Healthy pregnancy tips for pregnant women Happy pregnancy leads to happy baby Pregnancy massage What to eat during pregnancy What you eat, your baby eats too! Diet should be the supreme priority in fetal care. Your baby is connected to you by means of a placenta and receives nutrition from your body via umbilical cord. Take extra care about the food you eat because it’s not just you who will be affected by it. Ayurveda suggests that pregnant women should intake a lot of healthy and cooked food which is easily digestible and does not ... https://www.shimply.com/articles/prenatal-care-according-to-ayurveda/

Harsingar Medicinal Uses, Benefits and Side effects in Hindi –
इसका पुष्प सेहत के लिए अत्यंत फलदायी होता है, इसके लाभ निम्नलिखित हैं:- Medicinal Use of Harsingar and Its Benefits - हरसिंगार के औषधीय गुण व लाभ Harsingar for Blood Detoxification - रक्त को साफ करने हेतु हरसिंगार के फायदे Harsingar for Arthritis - गठिया रोग का घरेलू उपचार है हरसिंगार Heal Wounds with Harsingar - घाव का इलाज है हरसिंगार Harsingar Beneficial in Fractures - हरसिंगार अस्थि-भंग में लाभप्रद Harsingar for Sciatica - हरसिंगार का लाभ है गृध्रसी रोग में Piles Treatment with Harsingar - बवासीर की अचूक दवा है हरसिंगार Harsingar Benefits for Healthy Heart - हृदय रोग के उपचार में हरसिंगार से लाभ Medicinal Use of Harsingar for Fever - हरसिंगार का औषधीय गुण दे ज्वर से आराम Dry Cough Remedy is Harsingar - सूखी ... https://www.shimply.com/articles/harsingar-medicinal-uses-benefits-and-side-effects-in-hindi/
