Google glass, a class above the rest

Google never stops amazing us, it has often come up with devices and softwares that have changed the way society communicates and functions. With Glass, Google has set an altogether different dimension bringing to light some of the features which were once thought to be impossible.

Recently Google started the Glass Explorer Program that was to check the device, an early adopter program available for developers and consumers. Every applicant was to post a message on Google+ or Twitter with the hashtag #ifhgadglass and few of them were then invited to attend a conference in New York.

The explorer program took place in last week of October, 2013 where students had 10 minutes each to pitch their Glass app ideas before a panel of expert judges, comprised of startup founders and professors, who offered constructive feedback.

The glass allows its master to take pictures, record videos, share what he sees, get directions to particular destinations, speak messages and even translate your message into different languages. The device is light and strong and can be handled easily.
