Lately Google’s wearable device, ‘Google Glass’ is making news on a regular basis. Now, this piece of technology has found its twin. Nissan is all set to unveil a glasses-type wearable computer specifically designed for drivers later this month. Nissan announced the arrival of Nissan 3E via a video. The device in there looks quite similar to the Google Glass.
According to a company statement, 3E will be ready by the end of the month. It will be able to connect to the Internet in real time, allowing the users to overlay acquired information on the glass screen, record projected images and communicate with others by sending information to their screen.
Although, there have been objections regarding such devices stating that such device may distract the drivers while driving. The first ever ticket for wearing the Google Glass and driving was given to a lady in California on the grounds of driving with monitor visible to driver. Although the ‘Car and Driver’ has approved Nissan’s device, the users will still have to be on the look out.
The device will be launched at the Tokyo Motor Show, which will run from November 22 to December 1 this year.
