USA is in a dilemma regarding the safety and security of the nation. There have been talks that reveal that the state is considering making use of certain social media tools to keep a tab on the workers and their activities to avoid any further issues.
After the Edward Snowden and the Washington Navy Yard shooter incidences, the country is trying to incorporate modern methods of security and bring the social media monitoring concepts. Lawmakers want to know how “a troubled, unstable individual possessed a security clearance from the U.S. government.” There have been initial pilot studies which have given some clearance to the social media solutions.
Many national security experts have long argued that the security clearance process is antiquated and in need of modernization, it’s high time that US had certain high tech measures that could prevent the occurrence of any such problem again in the future.
At the moment the country has definitely made certain reforms that have brought about a change and has made the authorities more strict and concerned.
