Vine Now in 19 More Languages

Vine, the video sharing app, has become a phenomenon since its launch. The app has registered more than 10 million installs on Android alone. New version of the app was rolled out on November 21, 2013 for Android and iOS users in 19 new languages.

This feature has been added to enhance the app experience for global audience. According to the blog post, Vine is also “beginning to explore ways to surface Vine videos that are popular in a particular country.”

Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Turkish are the new additions languages.

Targeting the locals around the globe may turn out to be a successful strategy for the app, as it did for the owner Twitter in the past.
