Instagram to come up with a messaging feature

Ever since Facebook acquired Instagram, the company has planned several innovative features to make Instagram more amazing and useful. If rumors are to be believed, Instagram is planning to add a new messaging feature that would be rolled out in the coming version of the app.

Lately, Instagram have been giving several users “instagram.com” emails address. This was discovered by a marketing professional while gathering social media contact information from a third party company. Currently, there are no confirmations from the company about what the personal email addresses might mean, or how they would work for Instagram users. In case, it is something new that is going to hit the markets soon, the holiday season seems like the most opportune time for its launch.

Facebook has already provided their users with ‘facebook.com’ email address for emails and messages. However, the company used this initiative primarily for messaging. The company has not shown any intent to develop it into ‘Facebook mail’.

Let’s see what Instagram is up to and what are Facebook’s plan with the photo sharing app.
