Youtube’s Subscription not coming up this year

It seems like YouTube’s engineers need more time to set up the music subscription services. Google announced its plan to launch a subscription-based music streaming service on YouTube by the end of 2013. But according to reports, the subscription service will not be launched before the first quarter of 2014.

YouTube already has all the licensing, deals in place and is legally approved to have the service live this December. However, it seems that its creators need more time to add this feature to their platform.

Google, Youtube’s parent company has already launched one subscription music service this year — the Google Play Music All Access. The service offers music streaming for $9.99 a month. So, YouTube already know what to do. The only thing it needs to figure out is finding is the best way to integrate user-generated content with professional contents.

Youtube’s team of creators have always tried to come up with something innovative and out of the box. Let’s see what solution do they come up with this time.
