Twitter has updated its Android and iOS app and has also added several new features to its web version. Now, you can send images as direct messages to others. Some other unique features have optimized the experience of browsing for users.
The modifications include the ability to swipe between the ‘Home’, ‘Discover’ and ‘Activity’ timelines within the app. The app now shows a messages tab across the bottom navigation bar, making it easy to access Direct Messages from the home screen. This bar is only added for Android and iOS versions and not for the web version.
Now Twitter’s Android app users can click on the star icon next to the follow button on a profile page to set up notifications for that particular user. This can be done for any profile, not just celebrity profiles.
