Its a new tweet for Stephen King

Celebrated American Author and one of the most loved fiction writer, Stephen King is finally on Twitter. Author of New York Times Bestseller ‘Under The Dome’ posted his first tweet, “My first tweet. No longer a virgin. Be gentle!”

With just 13 tweets, the writer already has a strong base of 172,000+ followers in less than 3 days. The writer’s handle received a quick verification tick mark and just as quickly changed from @StephenKingAuth to @StephenKing.

He is a big fan of the social media. Though he kept aloof from one of the social media giant for quite long, he has always been an enthusiast when it comes to online work. Riding the Bullet, the world’s first mass market commercial e-book was his accomplishment. In 2009, King wrote a novella called UR, specifically tied to the launch of Kindle 2.

Let’s see what the legendary writer, whose bestselling novel ‘Under The Dome’ was 1,074 pages long, can do with 140 characters of Twitter.
