Vine users will now get their own Vanity URL. All verified users have almost got their personal URL and the feature will be rolled out to other users December 23 onwards. This feature will create a sense of ownership among users by allowing them to claim their identity as their Vine URL.
Vanity URLs are optional for every user. With this feature, users will now be able to showcase their Vine collection using personalized urls ‘vine.co/username’. Twitter has also given its users the option to claim their Twitter username as Vine URL. Twitter will automatically reserve those and offer them to users, who’ll still have to register to confirm it.
Just log into vine and claim your URLs before somebody beats you to it.
Vine has also launched a new version of their android app that will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread users. Gingerbread users will not be able to create videos, but atleast they will be able to see it.
Twitter surely is making the best use of its IPO proceeding. This is also reflecting on company’s stock which has gained more than 50% is past 25 days
