Twitter’s New Design close to the Mobile Design

Twitter has not relaxed since its IPO was successful and the company went from being private to public. Twitter just revamped its desktop version to provide a new outlook to all of its desktop users. This new update is more or less like the mobile version of twitter with a few relevant changes.

The profile photo is aligned with the cover image of a user which was visible on the profile page, after the new update which was launched on 13th January, the homepage also carries the cover image behind the profile picture. Initially the homepage had no cover image. Also, the top most panel which used to be black is now white and the font sizes have been altered to enlarge them below each image.

One of the new features added to Twitter’s desktop update is that now users can change the colours of various tools on Twitter and thereby make their pages way more colourful. Colour of compose box, navigation icons can be modified in the Design tab that comes within settings.

Although the new design is not visible to all of it users across the globe, it shall reach them in the coming days. The design is considered to be more user friendly and desires a further increase in the traffic and user base of the website.
