There is certainly some serious rift between the two leading mail services, Yahoo and Gmail. Recently, Yahoo’s main Twitter account tweeted something for Gmail, it said, “Gmail is temporarily unavailable” which also included a screenshot to prove it. Although the tweet has now been deleted, all the while it was their on the social media microblogging site it became a trending topic.
Yahoo later apologised via a tweet.

Earlier today, a tweet that reflected bad judgment was posted and has been deleted. We apologize to @Google and the @Gmail team. — Yahoo (@Yahoo) January 24, 2014
By the time the tweet was removed, which is now unavailable, users had begun reacting to the message that was conveyed. There were plenty of tweets made. One of the many tweets were;

Not only did people respond to the mistake done by Yahoo but they also reminded Yahoo about the problems that it had faced in December when the Yahoo mail was not accessible. When approached Google, a spokesperson said, “Due to a technical glitch, some email addresses on public webpages appeared too prominently in search results. We’ve fixed the issue and are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
